PixelBoom is more than a business—it’s our journey of perseverance, faith, and family. It began in 2007 when we purchased a small sign rental company called Super Signs, which my wife, Lisa, and I took over in Taber, Alberta. We started with just 10 signs and a dream.
As newcomers from Belize, we arrived in Alberta in 2004 with our young daughter and a desire to build a better life. In the early days, I worked long hours on feedlots and farms while Lisa prepared sign messages and took care of our girls. Our evenings were spent working on the signs together. Slowly, our fleet grew to 38 signs. In 2013, we entered the digital sign world with our first digital billboard in Taber, introducing a new name: LED Super Signs. This move brought growth and opportunity, adding digital sign sales in 2015, expanding across Alberta and B.C.
The road wasn’t easy. In 2010, I became unemployed due to a permanent vision disability, and we faced real hardship with four kids to care for. But through it all, Lisa and I stood strong, leaning on each other and our faith. My wife, Lisa, has been the heart of our business. Due to my disability, I am unable to transport myself around the province. She drives every kilometer for me. Whether for a sales meeting, transporting a sign trailer, or supporting our family, she always comes through. Her strength and dedication have been the foundation of our success.
In 2017, we rebranded once more to PixelBoom Media Ltd—a name that reflects our unique identity and bold vision. It was a hard-fought step, but it gave us the freedom to grow in new and exciting ways.
Today, we continue to help messages shine through vibrant, high-quality digital signage—from local events to expansive campaigns. PixelBoom is more than our livelihood—it’s our legacy. Thank you for being a part of it.
